Title: Boot Video Looks Squished

Just a question, not really a problem but I have an xbox from a friend which is a 1.0 just like mine, but his has kernel 4034 i think it is, and when the xbox is booting the video and the X seem to be squished togethor.  Does anyone know why this is?  Can it be changed..it just looks ugly like that.  Thanks

You sure its just not got widescreen enabled, and your using a non-widescreen TV?

Yeah, you must be in widescreen on a standard TV.
