The problem is DVD-X2. It throws a fit with many of my DVDs (both original and re-authored, it's the only player to not play them correctly), so I just bought the MS dongle. IMO, it's a far superior player it both reliablility and appearance. Surely worth the $30. There is a DVD-X2 v1.0 (or so I've heard, never seen it) that might be better.
