Title: Screen Problems

QUOTE (gareth_llewellyn @ Jan 5 2004, 10:00 PM)
Can anyone offer any solutions to my screen problems.
I have a NTSC X-Box over here in the UK with my PAL television.  Unfortunately whenever I try to hook my American X-Box to my British television via a scart or tv/video cable, the picture rolls all over the place.
The only time this hasn't happened is on a friend's system when the X-Box has been connected through his video recorder with the three pin cable link-up.
Does anyone know of a way around this?

Sounds like you have an NTSC-incompatible TV.

Try switching the xbox into PAL mode with the video switch-disc, that should do the job. Or get a new TV  smile.gif

Check for your TV at
http://www.geocities.com/mspritch/

There's a TV list there, it may be that your TV can be adjusted.  Failing that, disable PAL-60 mode in your M$ Dashboard.

Failing that make your box PAL by using config magic set the xbe and region to read PAL, Region 4.

Ignore the id of the above as they have nothing to do with DVD.
