Title: How To Play Dvd+r Dvd's On Xbox
Post by: SuperMxyz on November 23, 2003, 08:20:00 AM
I have a second dvd drive hooked up (I switch the IDE cable back and forth between it and the normal one so I can use cdr's and dvd+r discs.)

I can read divx off of the dvd+r's and I can open up individual vob files off of dvd+r within xbox media player, but I can't load up a dvd+r dvd using the dvdx-2 dongle-free dvd-player. I CAN read commercial DVD discs in my 2nd dvd drive, and the drive can read dvd+r, so I don't know why these two facts won't combine correctly for me.

In xbox media player I'd have to queue up each vob file and that would be a pain (plus some dvd's seem to play back shaky in xbox media player.)

Is there some other software that will work for me? If I buy the remote control and use the xbox normal dvd player would that work?
