Title: Problem With Beamer In Pal-mode

I have a little problem with my xbox connected to a Epson beamer.
When i switch my xbox to ntsc the games started fro hd show up in colour,but when i start game in PAL they show up in black & white. How is this possible?
My beamer can handle PAL/NTSC/SECAM. The only way to play in colour at the moment is to flash my Xbox to NTSC and switch my beamer to NTSC.
