I've noticed this url

that lets you play hdtv videos
There also is a link from the url that lets you dw a program for hdtv viewing...(don't know how it works but a wild guess is that it probably uses hdtv streaming as input)
Currently I'm using a pinnacle tv card and dscaler, and I must admit that they produce a quite good image even if I can't use progressive scan (480p I think) because I'm only using an advanced av cable while I would need the high definition pack (even if in that case, I doubt I could then plug it to my pc tv card
My silly question is this if there was a tv card that would accept progressive input,
could we emulate hdtv with a good pc?
It's quite a silly question - but if there is a progressive mode option in that tv viewing program the must be something out there!
I live in Italy so hdtv here is a dream... But it would be quite nifty if it could be emulated
