Title: Xbmc Softmod Wont Play Games

iv formatted my C & F drives resoftmodded & installed XBMC Installer Deluxe as the default dashboard however now it wont play games on DVDrs that it would play before, XBMC & games saved on the hard drive work fine tho. here is which XBMC im using:

I think XBMC only tries to read the disk for a short period of time then just gives up UnleashX tries longer to read those games, so games that might not work in XBMC might boot perfectly in UnleashX.


PS: as fallenangle said dont post links to sites that give download links to stuff like that. I just dont have the privs to punish here so you are getting off easy with me just removing the link

my apologies about the link. i have various dashboards installed including UnleashX & none of them are booting copied discs although they were before, so i am at a loss on how to fix this problem ?

Inability to read DVDs has nothing to do with the dashboard. Your DVD drive is broken. Tweak the laser, replace the laser, or replace the drive.

you need a thompson dvd drive and a multi meeter,
then google: thompson dvd pot tweak xbox.
