Title: Manual Update Unleashx. Error Code 13

I've searched and searched, and this happens EVERY time. Am I doing something wrong?

I boot Unleash X, opened up the C drive, copied over the default.xbe

I renamed xboxdash.xbe to _xboxdash.xbe

I renamed default.xbe to xboxdash.xbe

Reboot. Error.

Since it wont let me edit post Ill reply what my system was on.

UnleashX 0.38.0515A Build 565
Kernel 5713
Dashboard 5960

Softmodded using Splinter Cell

Before attempting manual update. I was able to boot the default.XBE into UnleashX V0.39.0528a Build 584 perfectly fine

It just wont work when trying to use it as the default dashboard

Problem Solved.



E: > dash > Default.xbe

Replaced

E: > dash > Config.xml

Replaced

E: > dash > English.xml

For completeness for anyone else who reads this, the default dashboard on a softmod Xbox isn't C:\xboxdash.xbe. C:\xboxdash.xbe is the version of the original dashboard that triggers the softmod, and you should never touch it because if you do your softmod is history!

The default dash on a softmod is E:\dash\default.xbe (Kingroach), E:\dashboard\default.xbe (Krayzie) or E:\evoxdash.xbe (SID), and those are the files you replace when you want to update or change the dash.
