Is there anyway to change the user interface
or desktop that linux goes into when booted ?
I want a desktop that is easier to get oround on

You mean change the dashboard? If so then yes. Just look where your Mod looks to boot. Then Repost.

What do I need to look for?
Sorry Im a noob to all this I have had the box modded for awhile
But just installed full linux
I used Xebian it's set up to run from the hard drive
But there isn't much just 4 files in the folder
