What ever happened to the new MXM logo Intro - 3D Video/MXM Rendering?  still in progress?

I would have posted to the contest thread but its locked.. and couldnt google another thread to find where the orginal discussion was.

Well, I haven't done much lately, but I'd like to add it. I may need to do some other tricks to get the job done, though, since the model is fairly large. I may need to use generated spheres and apply some alpha-channeled textures to make it work on a cheaper "vertice budget"
