because the game icons are a readily available resource which will require little from the user (as far as extra files) and the script can be included in the MXM xbe.
cards and images are not... although i guess abstract shapes could be drawn but that would be a pain in the arse.

You should take this as a compliment flattspott, and not really read what it says. Now you have joined the ranks of other scene developers, having someone criticize something you develop before its even been used...

Im hashing out the beginings of Reversi at the moment. Just the checking routines that are based on where the pointer is. I'm doing this on paper while watching some earthquake movie.

Yuyu's comments were'nt aimed at you in hostility, but were just a general comment to flattspott about the "bombarding critizism" the dev's receive and that he should know what they feel like now.
