Title: Which Resource Shows Folder Icons (mxm Skinner 5.0
Post by: neverwill on March 31, 2004, 02:42:00 PM
Im making a skin right now and everything is going fine except for one thing. What do I select as a resource in mxm skinner to show folder and app icons that arent named MXM_ICON.jpg or whatever? Ive got my game icons showing up using the "game icon" resource, but I want my icons for things like "nes" and "games" etc etc to show up as well and am unsure of which resource enables this.

Check in the xml file for what it's generating

If it's not
<Resource type="Image" name="whatever">
<EntryNamed>Thumb</EntryNamed>
</Resource>

then make it like this

*If that doesn't work, try<EntryNamed>Thumbnail</EntryNamed>
I forget which one's the correct one.

Thanks, yup that's what it was.

   <Resource Type="Image" Name="GameIcon">
      <Entrynamed>thumbnail</Entrynamed>
   </Resource>

Before it was just directing itself towards the default.xbe, so only default.xbe's with thumbs in them would show (ie games).

Thanks.
