Title: Ahelp In Setting A Skin?

ok, i put mxm.xbe  in c:\

then the mxm.xml  in c:\

<Config>
<Main>
<SkinsPath>c:\MXMSkins</SkinsPath>

<DiscTitle>Media X Menu</DiscTitle>
<DiscSubtitle> </DiscSubtitle>
</Main>
</Config>

made folder MXMSkins  in  c:\

in that folder i put LiveWireV2   (/C/MXMSkins/LiveWireV2/ )

what am i doing wrong here?

What's the problem?

Try adding another \ after MXMSkins in the <SkinsPath> tag.

Press Y, Menu and skins, press A on whatever skin you want to use..

Does C:\MXMSkins\LiveWireV2 have an MXM_Skin.xml file in it, or another LiveWireV2 folder?

Stupid me, didnt know about the Y button hehe. Anyways i deleted a cache.xml from C:, and LiveWireV2  worked.  

Also put in newsfeed: fun to see the news scrolling on the dash hehe. Never knew about that one.

My current dashes are now.  xbmp-mxm-evox.   didnt think evox would get bumped down.

on another note  i use x-select,
Slot# 5(UP): c:mxm              what button do i press here for fast access?  always seems to come to "select dashboard"

Lemme guess, you have an "S" controller?

:::sigh::: there will be a version 0.7 X-Select in the near future, even if I have to be the one to update it (a buddy was supposed to take it over)
