So here it is: the Advantage skin! I wanted to have a clean XBOX style background and colors, a previewvideo, good hardware and clear hardware information, and a large listing of games....
I'm very happy with it. Since it's the first version of my first skin, I have used quite a bit of ideas and code from other skins. So I'd like to thank BenJeremi, the MXM community, StrongBad (Devoid skin), Masahiko (simplicity skin), Oswald (UyenBox3 skin), Eden Soto (Green Evox skin ----the awesome background is his----) and XeroKitsune (Dot Hack skin)....
You can find it at www.allxboxskins.com. I have also uploaded a previewvideo to the axs server and Oswald's server, so it might be added to the skin also...

But uhm.... I'm having a hard time getting into your server. I've never succeded trying to login with IE (or Opera), and only once (i think) with FlashFX. I've tried the passive mode, the active mode, anonymous, password/username... nothing....
lol (and banging myself to the head)... it seems that I was using the wrong name/password the whole time!? Forgot to write in capital.... Skin + previewvideo is uploaded by now

Well, I will do as you guys want, and offer an init screen sans the Matrix Effect.
I have to work on the patcher... then tweak the screen render routines in MXM.
I was planning on offering Green, Red, Blue, Orange, Yellow, White, Purple, and maybe one based on the color of the "X" logo when starting up. With or without the Matrix effect.
I was also thinking of doing a "Cylon" type progress bar, ala Windows start up...
Feel free to give me other ideas. If they do not require much code or resources, I will add them when I get time.

Yeah
But I have the games sorted: I've put all racing games in a 'racing' dir, all sports in a 'sports' dir and the remaining games in the 'games' dir. Then all file-applications go in a 'file' dir, and all other applications go in the 'apps' folder. Then I let AutoDir function do the rest. This way the games are better sorted and the list stays smaller (makes chosing a games easier)

Yeah.... the Windows Startup does a left-to-right, but bouncing back and forth is a bit cooler, don't ya think?

This is the new Number 1 skin...The layout is godlike and you can see lots of games in a row!
