I'd Like to see you up it Just to see what some other people are doing with this excellent program.  As I am working on a few myself, I am really interested to see what kind of modifiers and gadgets you implemented and what kind of results they gave.  I have had a few ideas along the way but it seems that my mind is getting ahead of the possibilities at this point. So please up it and if not at least send it on over my way.

I am guessing that those two pictures on the sides are jpegs.  It would be nice to see a couple of WMVS set up like that thoguh eh??  cool.gif

LOOKS GREAT BY THE WAY beerchug.gif

Looks good... does the 13MB include music? If so, I'd recommend uploading it without the music to a site like allxboxskins.com - though I'm sure we wouldn't mind seeing the skin available WITH the tunes on usenet.  rolleyes.gif

Thanks,,

This is my first Release as far as Skins . I wasn't happy with my previous ones . But this one I feel good about this one .
The pics on the side were implemented into the screen . I don't have a program that allows me to run multiple screens . sad.gif  if you know of a program that does , post or PM me . Can Adobe Premier do that ?

Nice, I likes. Up it!  biggrin.gif

You asked about multiple screens.  Yes, Premiere can do it.  But I totally suggest the awesome video editing app I never stop talking about:  Vegas Video 4.  With it, you can replace those static images with full motion video.  Just import your video, composite it over the background, and use track-motion to resize it down and skew it for perspective.  And boom, instant picture in picture.

Wel S.O.B. ............I have Vegas Video 4.0  and I didn't know it could do that  unsure.gif   sad.gif .  Kewl Now I have even more to work with .
This is REALLY fun .......takes Alot of time & patience but well worth it ..

I'm tryin to upload 2 XboxSkins but it keeps crappin out on me sad.gif (not me ....them). So It will be up soon . I may just use my space & serve it . My ISP may go balistic on me though  tongue.gif . Look for it soon .

This is my first version of this skin . There will be future versions of this due to my learning curve . I learn more everyday and it can only get better .

Looks good.... I dunno... I think it might show up in "The Usual Places"  wink.gif

I hope you are thinking of things to do with the next version of MXM coming up this week (by weekend, maybe). I'd love to see that menu screen with clips on the sides!

I'm going to keep adding more little quirky twists to what skinners can do - it's cool to see people do more with them than what I anticipated.  biggrin.gif

There's no "MenuX" here.

That's Media X Menu, MXM 0.9k running that skin.

You can run both, but I've been getting MXM in shape to run as your PRIMARY dashboard... it offers password protection for those that need it, to prevent nosy roommates or little brothers from wiping out your Xbox with a mistaken gamepad button press.

It also offers a LOT more pizzazz than the plain jane Evo-X skins. MXM can use video for backgrounds, previews, screen savers, and also plays background music, displays more on-scene information than any other dashboard, and the next version will be extra-nice when multi-game discs are loaded with MXM running.

MXM also has an FTP server now...

Run Evo-X when you need to do the few things it currently does that MXM doesn't. Same for Avalaunch (no offense to either group, they do some things very nicely, when you need them)

It's a partial animated screen , And those pics you see of games are actually videos decribing the games accept for a few (I just bought them and havn't converted videos for em yet).
Like BJ said this is MediaXMenu much much better IMO . ALOT more creativity can be achieved with MediaXMenu .
IMHO yes I think it's Much better than EvoX . But  others will differ . Media X Menu is maturing at a very rapid rate .  You MUST NOT confuse Menu X /w Media X Menu they are 2 different Apps.

It should be out there very soon , keep your eye out for it . But you MUST have MXM9k installed to run this skin  wink.gif

I'm assuming you mean MXM and if that's the case yes they can . You can even run both through each other allowing the best of both worlds .

"MenuX" Released both by Complex and WAM, is a HACKED M$ PROGRAM. They figured out how to generate configuration files to use M$'s own demo menu system to play multiple games form a DVD-R.

MenuX doesn't work on the Hard Drive (for obvious reasons to those of us who write software that launches apps on the Xbox).

MenuX also FAILS under certain circumstances, but nobody has ever figured out the EXACT circumstances... just that every once and a while, it will make a disc that's got a game that will not launch.

Media X Menu (MXM) was my response to MenuX. It's released with the source code, so fixes can be made after I'm done with the project, and it was written to do much more than MenuX - including running AS a dashboard, displaying help screens, a screen saver, and handling video previews. It can also read MenuX configuration files (menux.xdi), so it can be used as a DIRECT replacement, if you are satisfied with the MenuX configuration steps and limitations (and still get a few benefits, besides multi-game DVDs that simply work).

As a dashboard, MXM features an FTPServer, password protection, auto-configuration, skin randomization, soundtrack playback (music), and extensive information strings that can be displayed on-screen. More features are on the way....

Thanks for the explanation BenJeremy.

My hard drive is starting to fill up so I just started to offload some of it to DVD.

I made a multi DVD yesterday with Craxtion and I was wondering what the exact differences were between Media X and Menu X.

Thanks,

Tethra
