Morpheus looks a little surreal - a side effect of trying to crop a moving video shot and chromakeying - I spent a bit of time trying to make him look a bit more 'real' but decided to tweak it to make him look a bit more 'generated' instead, since it looked better, actually.
The only inprovement I'd like to make on the shot is to include a roiling cloud background.
Work continues on bug fixes... lots of music manager tweaks.

Currently, I'm integrating J.P.Patches' FTP code into MXM, though it's a bit rough going
For some bizarre reason, the compiler hates his files... nothing I can see, but everytime I include his code directly, I get the most bizarre compiler errors.At any rate, I'm slowly adding the code in by retyping it (which seems to work well) and renaming suspect variables (tsk, tsk, JP... use hungarian!!!)
I have a few small things to look at, afterward, but hopefully "K" will have a functional FTP server.

Much thanks to J.P. Patches! I've had to basically rewrite everything there, because of the compiler issues, but no changes to the actual code, yet. I haven't fully tested yet, but nice thing is that the code is simple, and just works.

w00t! i went back to evox as my dash the other day, but MXM is going straight back on when K comes out, as long as the directory listing cacheing is implemented too

Well, the FTP seems to be OK, I can browse, but I haven't tried transferring yet. I'll transfer some WMV files, back and forth, to make sure it's kosher.
As for the Skin, I'll release it at the same time, but separately, for obvious reasons. There may be some music with the one found at "The Usual Places" which will beef it up to another 14MB, while the WMV only version weighs in at about 2MB so far.
I'll have some serious development time today (wife and kids going to a relative's b-day party), and the compiler won't be sidetracking me like it did yesterday.

pros
- looks awesome
- has a very "matrix'ie" feel to it
- looks cool
- intro is too long for everyday usage
- textbox is too thin/font is too big (game names dont fit)
