Well, there already is something like that: MXM_Entry.xml

MXM looks in each directory (when the menu cache has been reset) for the MXM_Entry.xml file.

You can add all the stuff you want into it - and ActionScript can access it. Putting more stuff in doesn't mean MXM can't read it like it normally does, either...

Well, a search for mxm_entry did not turn up a lot of threads, but I will keep plugging away at it... I tell ya, MXM is so robust that it is hard to keep up with what is in it and were to find references on everything... (don't take that to mean slow down... hehe)

Doh... found it in the MXM Users Guide.doc... of all places to put it, it was in the documentation... Well, it has 3 of them anyway, guess I will get cracking on the installer tomorrow, after I get in touch with YuYu and make sure I am not wasting my time... Thanks again... ill be around...
