i only know that the sound of prewiv vids can me activate in system menu ( over Y-Button)

Well, there are "Overrides" you have to use. They are in an "overrides" section. You have the right approach, but there are tags to override the skins, because the skin designer gets the first say in how the sound is handled.

The preferences are not used in "DVD-R" mode.
