I've just come across information suggesting that Fable cannot be viewed properly at 480P, and the only fix I can find requires booting the game from the msdashboard.
I was curious to know if this game can be run successfully at 480P running from the HD or using the avalaunch dashboard.

If this problem can only be fixed using the msdash, what does that mean for running future games from the HD - was this issue an accident?
