Title: Trainers With A Softmod?

I have the halo 2 camera hack (v 1.1 and 1.0) and I want to use it to film a movie.  Here's what I have:

Xbox softmodded using UnleashX Mechassault exploit (waffle zone)
Evolution X installed to my E drive
Both trainers
Halo 2 on my hard drive

I read in the topic on halomods where I downloaded the trainer that it requires the M8+ bios.  As far as I know, I can't get that bios on my softmod, so I think this might be my problem.

In the options menu for Evolution X I have IGR off, TSR normal, Region North America (NTSC).

The trainers aren't working.  When I go to trainers on the menu, select halo 2 camera hack v1.1, turn it on and put on 3rd person (old) (for testing purposes, I still have no idea how the perspective switching works), reboot, and then load up EvoX again, and finally run halo 2 from my hard drive, it doesn't work.

Is there anything I'm doing wrong here?
