Title: Evox Skin Problem

ok, maybe others have this prob too,
my xbox is a 1.6 sofmodded, with evox. i go to allxboxskins.com and download a few skins, most with picture dont show up, when i change skins, only a few do, i think the very first one, its anime, i tried, and dont show up,
anyone know why?

I had a (noob) issue with that too...did you DL direct to xbox or to PC and then transfer to xbox? I figured out that the ones that did'nt work for me when I transfered to the box were the ones without an ini. file. That was before I figured out that I could DL them direct to the xbox from the sites and all of the skins listed worked. Don't know if this helps or not...I am just a baby noob myself.

its zipped. so ya have to DL it to your pc first before moving to to the xbox.

Make sure that you do not have a folder in a folder.

e.g ......             E:/Dashboard/skins/anime01/anime01/skin.ini

It should be       E:/Dashboard/skins/anime01/skin.ini


Depending on how the .zip/.rar file has been made , It may contain a folder already - Just make sure that your skins are in single folders.

Yea they are, But ohwell, some work some dont. Maybe i should just change to avalaunch. Everyone says its better than Evox, and unleashX,

Post the contents from skin.ini - From one of the skins that is not working.

Maybee a little editing is all they need.
