I like the background images and the would make a great skin, and as it is for a first attempt it's pretty good. One thing. The text doesn't stand out enough from the image. I would maybe put a coloured background block behind each text label just so they are a little easier to read. You could make them look like comic book speach bubbles or something, I think that would be pretty cool.

Good job though.
