Hey guys first time modding an xbox, so bear with me....
So two days ago I installed a Duox2 chip and flashed it with M8_16 bios. Now, I've finally found time to install a dashboard and I've decided to go with evox. So I go and get it from the usual places, make an iso, etc. and make an evox boot disc. But, when I put it into the xbox, it boots to the boot screen, and then does nothing after that. If I take the disc out, then it just boots to the MS Dash like normal. I've tried burning the disc various times, used DVD-R and CD-RW, and have made the iso dozens of times, yet it didn't work once. What should I do? Am I doing something wrong? Here is what i"m doing to make the iso:
1. download latest evox dashboard and unzip
2. make a 100mb dummy file and put it in with evoxdash.xbe (which I renamed to default.xbe), evox.ini, and the skin and bios folders
3. Use Craxtion to make it into an iso
4. Burn with nero

Instead of making a custom disk, try Slayer's. You can format the drive and install Evox as the dash.
