Title: Unecessary Files
Post by: samster on February 24, 2003, 06:56:00 AM
I backed up one of my games to my new HD. I was planning on downloading my other games but I want to be sure I dont waste HD space. The 1st game was Splinter CEll and it occupies over 6Gb. Which files should I delete to conserve HD space? Where can I get info on which files can be deleted for different games? ;)

B) As I don't have a DVD burner, I spent 4 months, screwing around with getting all my games down to 700MB, since I upgraded to a cheap 80gig HDD I have more time to play the phucking games instead of stripping them.
Where did you get that and what does it do exactly? I see that it's a controller port, but the connection cord is what confuse me.. :)

It's a stripped down Xbox, I gather, with a custom case. By the looks of it, the storage devices appear to be in the PC case and the core of the unit in the stripped down box.

Its a $5.00 jiffy box from radioshack, with the xbox sockets, cut out and super glued onto the base of the jiffy box (mini-me), the cable coming out of the mini-me is a 25pin printer cable with the centronics bit cut off.
Have a look at some pics/info I put on this POST It may clear it up for you.
My mod was never designed to be pretty, but at less than $50 for a 4way HDD selector (AV isolation switch $19.95). and a 4 port 1.5 metre game port extension, I reckon my mod shits on all those pointless neon light mods getting around, (no offence).
