First off, I'm running an Xecuter 2.6 CE Hard modded, using the pinheader, on a version 1.0 box. My hard drive is the original Seagate 10gb and my DVD player is the original Philips. All I have added to my C drive is Evox v3935. My problems are this; I cannot load the MS Dashboard through the Evox menu. The screen freezes when it says "Loading". Disabling the modchip allows me to laod to the MS Dashb oard without problem and play oem games.
This also occurs when I place a copied game, oem game or dvd in the drive and try to use "Launch DVD" from the menu. Again, the screen jumps to "Loading", but freezes.
Now, If I insert a copied game or an oem game and reboot, they play just fine.
Can someone please offer me som advice on this.

Is this a newly modded box, or did it just start doing this? I'm in the middle of trying to fix an install on a v1.4 where EvoX loads just fine, but then when you tell it load anything else (XBMC, DVD2Xbox), it just freezes at the "loading" screen. So far, the only partial solution I've found is that the BIOS file might need to be changed, but I'm not about to flash my one-and-only back-up bank until I know for sure if that will solve the problem.
If I do run across the solution, I'll try to remember to come back and let you know what I did. Please do the same if you figure this out first.
