Title: X2vga Not Working On Lcd Monitor
Post by: AF_Snowboarder01 on October 11, 2005, 06:34:00 PM
I just bought an X2VGA for use with my Dell 19" ultrasharp LCD monitor. I  set the dip switches to 1 on, 2 off, 3 on, and 4 off... I don't get picture, except for every once in a while a partial image will flciker across the screen.

When I turn switch 4 on, my monitor says it can't display in this mode...

I boot up directly into evoX, and my xbox dash settings only give me the video options for normal, standard?, and widescreen modes. I set it to widescreen. Also, now when I try to reload the xbox dash, it gives me an error... I'm so confused >.<

Any help would be much appreciated. TIA.

I have a VD-Z3 and had the same problem. You have to hook the xbox up to an HDTV with the HD pack for the xbox. Then boot to the evox dash. Now you can enable 480p, 720p, and 1080i. Now take it back to your monitor and give it a try.

As for the error, was that the MS dash? Make sure you hdd is locked.

You should try the latest Unleash X dash. I think it is much more user friendly. I just switched from evox.
