Title: No Sound On Anything

hello all, im kinda new to the mod stuff as i never really mess with it.  but i did install the slayers auto installer and it went off without a hitch, updated the bios and dashboard.  but anywho, after that i played some halo2, watched a few videos then turned it off.  then iw ent to go play a dvd and now there is no audio comeing from my xbox....not for game, movies, mp3's...not even from avalaunches shoutcast thing for backround music.  anybody have any ideas as to how to fix this?  thanx, btw i have m8 bios on a v1 xbox with evox as my default dash.  its a tsop modded box(no mod-chip).

Is there sound during the startup flubber animation?  Also, what kind of A/V pack are you using?

there is no flubber animation, it just shows the xbox logo, and as far as a/v pack....uhm...i just have the straight component cable for ps2/xbox, the sound works for my ps2.

i just tried reflashing the bios but no luck...could this be because i accidentally DLed 2 copies of the dvd player to my box?  it started either before or after i did this.

please!!!  someone help me!!  i need to get my sound working.  >.<
