Title: Can't Connect To Ftp.
Post by: jonboy2006 on October 23, 2006, 11:02:00 AM
I'e got similar problems, I ftp'd a new ini file and now I can't ftp for love nor money.

In flashFXP (which still works for other ftps, ie xbins) i get this in the log, which to me seems to mean there is no error i can easily correct, as it is connecting ok (which is normally the problem when I have changed settings etc).

I think the problem may be to do with the ini I ftp'd being a different build to my evox (would this cause problems?). Also, does evox autodetect xbox version? I don't know what version mine is, but it is cyrstal and has a manafactur date of 2004 - 09 - 11. Evox is saying it is a version 1.0 box, is this correct?

2 options:

1, Go for a full rebuild of evox, do I just get the file off xbins, copy to a data cd, and paste into the c drive? Can I boot from the cd to test?

2, Alternatively, can I go back to the minimal evox.ini (the one which gets defaulted to when your evox becomes corrupted) - as this allowed me to ftp. Where is this version of the ini, can someone paste it into this thread or PM me please?

Secret option number 3, resolve the issue from the flash fxp log posted below.

Flash FXP log:

FlashFXP v3.3.4 build 1106 [BETA RELEASE]

ps not trying to hijack the thread, but thought the problems were so similar it wasn't worth a new thread.
