Title: No Disc, But It's There.

Hi all,

I am having a weird problem. I booted to Evox and then entered The Sims 2 (also tried with Shrek 2). The drive does init stage then Evox says NO DISC. However, if I leave disc in and just boot to it, the game plays fine.

I loaded XBOX2DVD and got the same issue.

Any ideas? I am trying to back up my game.

Are you trying to back it up to your xbox hardrive or to your PC hardrive??

If you are trying to get it on you PC Hardrive so you can burn it, then try using FlashFTP then see if your D Drive shows up there. If it does then just copy all the files on the D Drive then make your image then burn it to a DVD.

You'll need to ensure that your DVD drive is functioning properly as well.  I have all three, Thompson (sucks), Philips(good), Samsung(Da bomb).  I bet you have the Thompson don't you? Check out DIVINEO on line.  They have the Samsung 616T which reads everything.
