Title: Xbox Video On Pc Monitor
Post by: PsychoTish on October 25, 2004, 12:31:00 PM
I have a Radeon 9800 PRO Graphics card on my PC with an S-Video input on it. Does anyone know if I could use the XBOX Advanced AV Pack which has an S-Video cable to play my XBOX on my PC Monitor?

I use a crappy PINE TV card for my XBox to PC input.  If your card has an input I don't see why the S-Video wouldn't work.

not unless you have the Tivo model which has svhs in. I've tried composite on
mine, and it's okay but not great.

Did you give any thought to a tv tuner card with a svideo or composite input? Asssuming you have a fast enough computer, it should capture in pretty hi res.
Im thinking about trying it this way. I think they run about 30 bucks on pricewatch.com

just a thought

Using a tv tuner really makes the image look like a turd. Looks very bad even with Dscaler. I ordered a x2vga and should be here in a couple of days.
