Title: X2vga+ Audio In Plug Doing Bugger All?
Post by: Reppyboyo on October 17, 2004, 12:10:00 PM
Hi,
I got a X2VGA+ adapter a while ago, while it works fine, Im only able to hear sound if I plug the 3.5mm male to male audio cable from the audio out into my monitor speakers.
Not impressive at all.

If I try connect the cable from the Audio In to the one on my sound card, I dont hear anything from my computers speakers (Logitech Z-640`s i think, 5.1 anyway).

Any ideas on this?

Thanks all.

Try finding the manual ..... i tried getting a link for the online one .... but i think
there site is down ..... i'm pretty sure it has something to do with the jumper
settings on the side .... i dont have the plus version ... but if it helps my jmp
settings are
1 on
2 off
3 off
4 off....

i was having a problem similar , my composite video wasnt working .... even with
the x2vga power off.. set the 4 jumper to on ... and it did the job .... it gets alittle
annoying having to switch that tiny little jumper everytime i wanna play on my
TV... but i'll live...

I hope this helps.

According to the manual the dip switches are all used in some way for the video, not the audio.
