Title: Upgrading Slayers Evox 2.6 Prob`s

Hi All First newbie post here... Great forum... :D

I have just tried to help my little brother update his v1.0 Xbox,from Slayers Evox 2.1 to the latest Ver 2.6.. I selected the option.. Install/Upgrade xbmc,Apps on E & Evox on C. From the Auto installer menu.
When I rebooted the Xbox the Evox Dash loaded but no options were available and No M$Dash?They were blacked out.So I decided to do a  Full Install on Retail Hd on v1.x Xbox..(Option 3B From the Auto installer menu).
After rebooting the xbox this time no Evox Dash would load but the M$Dash would,and the Xbox is set to Ntsc not Pal. :(  
I have tried Burning Slayers Evox Installer onto A Cd-r,DVD-r and a CD-rw just incase it was the type of media I was using..But still no good..??? :(  :(

Please Help..or my Little Brother will never speak to my again... That might be a good thing tho..LOL :D

Me and a few others had the exact same problem as you did. So I'm scouring the forums looking for people to help with this issue. Your msdash is corrupt. Replace it with an older one and youll be all good. Matter of fact use Slayers 2.5 do a full install, then reboot(all should be working perfectly) then use Slayers 2.6 to do an upgrade of apps, only. Don't use 2.6 to replace ms dash and you'll be all good. I upgraded my ms dash after fixing it this way using a newer game that allowed you to upgrade to newest dash version, it worked for me.
