Title: I Am Going Crazy Cant Get Evox Dash To Load

i am using a pc dvd-rom and i burn the .iso to a cd-rw. i put the cd in the drive and takes forever but eventually boots to ms dash but wont boot off of cd.  i just put the evoxdash.xbe (rename it to default.xbe) and the evox.ini and a 500mb dummy file in a folder and use isocraxion to make an .iso. then i use nero to burn the image am i doing something wrong? also when my box boots up it takes forever (well like 3 or 4 minutes) is there a way i can speed this up or is that just how long it takes? any info would be much appreciated.

burn it to a dvd-r and don't put in a dummy file just open nero burning rom NOT EXPRESS and at the top left select dvd image instaed of cd image

i have the default.xbe file and the evox.ini file in there. I am at work so i dont have the file infront of me but i am pretty sure that it is 4983. it says xecuter2 under the xbox logo when it loads.

you say that to everyone but i have had this media work before and i am using a pc dvd rom so it should read any media. i am thinking of reflashing my chip with the evox m7 bios would this help?

i didnt mean anything bad by it i was just saying that i have read tons of posts and you say that everytime. but it is not an original xbox drive it is a pc drive. and it read this media before.

ok i tried and still just goes to ms dash.  i reflashed my chip and everything. any other ideas?????

here is how i make my evox disk

1. get evox and change evoxdash.xbe to default.xbe
2. taken default.xbe, evox.ini, and a 100mb dummyfile and created an iso using xiso.
3. then using nero burned image to a cd

is this correct if so then i am lost at what i am doing wrong. i changed my bios to 4981.06 to see if that was the problem but it wasnt so it makes me think something is wrong with my evox. if this doesnt work what is the next to easiest dashboard to use to see if i can do that. thanks

Try To Burn All The Files That Are In The .Rar In The Cd Without The Dummy File.
