I've been trying and have been frustrated with getting Evox to run off a boot disk for the past month or so on and off.
The last time I tried it wouldn't read the disk, saying it's dirty or damaged - however now I just get absolutely nothing...it boots to the dashboard as though there is nothing in the drive at all.
Is this a good sign or a bad sign? I've followed umpteen tutorials and am using Craxtion and Nero to create and burn the .iso file...the setup I am using to create the disk is different (different laptop, different burner) and I am using a variety of CD-RWs (Sony, Imation, Emtec).
Hope someone out there can help me...I've almost flung the console against the wall in frustration a couple of times and I really for it not to be in little bits and pieces.

Try using ISOX Creater. Works for me everytime.
Are you using a large enough dummy file??
Your CD/RW Disks seem ok. I use cheap (50p each) Samsung ones.

My dummy file is a over 511MB. I've tried using different ISO programs, but I'll give your suggestion a go. Thanks for the response.

Can the Evox Boot disc work with a non-moddified Xbox? (No Softmod, TSOP Flash or Chip)
