I've reported each and every one of them........this is stupid and messed up.  The developers of these tools give them to use for free yet these guys aim to make money off of the people that don't have the knowledge or equipment to make a disc themselves........scum of the scene........

First off, for the record, I don't like what these guys are doing.  They most likely don't have the author's consent, not to mention the fact that they are selling XDK developped software.  For which, M$ can sue their ass off.

That being said (and hopefully I won't get flamed for the following...).  I think there's an argument in these guys favour.  They are not charging for the tools themselves but rather for the packaging of the tools.  They are selling a convenience.  And there are those who will pay for such a convenience instead of packaging it themselves.  This would have been cool by me if they got the author's consent.

Many have done so before them.  Just take Linux for example.  It is totally free.  But RedHat (and many other companies) packages Linux and sells it.  The same applies for DVD-X.  It is a collection of freeware packaged together and sold the the unsuspected public.  They are selling the packaging and the easy of installing and use.  Not the software themselves.

Let me re-iterate, I do not think what these guys have done is legal (from the XDK point of view) but I think there's a precedent.

I am no way supporting them, and I think they should be castrated... smile.gif but tell me, If they are just charging for a DVD and shipping, how different is this from ROM Burners on freemameroms ???

Actually I belive it is different, (answered myself) Rom Burners specify that they are only charging for the cost of CD/DVD and shipping, where as this *$%#( is actually having people bid.
People like that should be castrated, with their intestines pulled out from there mouth and shoved back up there *##, with a couple of hot poker's stuck in their eyeballs and blood pouring out their ears....

men these guys sucks, Developers who are deboted to their best on creating an awesome program and someone else is making money of it. Men there are those to take advantage of what is available to them under the GPL  and this is not right and those that are lazy to read and will buy are complete dumb ass too in my opinion.
