Make an Evox boot disk or get slayers 2.5 and boot into evox so u can ftp over.

Make a new Evox CD and boot from it, then you'll be able to reinstall Evox. When he went on live your Evox dash got overwritten, you had it named xboxdash.xbe. You'll need to reinstall Evox and you're most likely banned from Live now.

Sorry for double posting, but the screen that comes up when i turn mu xbox on says, 21 in the top corner and it says my xbox needs service.

You need to rename the evoxdash.xbe to default.xbe, rename your dummy file to abc.dat. Make an xiso image with xSIO, or Xiso Manager and burn it. I use Nero 5, goto File, Burn Image, load the .iso file and burn it. Nero 6 is, File, Recorder, Burn Image, Load the .iso and burn.

If you can still play backups, your chip is working fine. You just need to make the disc right.

it sounds like the hard drive is unlocked!, the password on the HDD needs to match the pass in the eeprom, otherwise the standard bios will frag, while the modded one will work

My brother just told me that he renamed the MS dashboard the same name as the evoX one!! HELP!!!

hey i got the same thing cept i did something different but i still get this goddamn error 21, i used 007 exploit and i accidentally deleted my xboxdash board!!!!!  and the exploit so i cant ftp to my dash board so i cant get into my xbox can anyone tell me how to get into my xbox a different way please help!!!!! oyeah i took out my hardrive put it in my computer but it couldnt read the hardrive if someone could tell me a way u can make the computer read it or a different way to ftp to my xbox that would be great! i have no mod chip and im not planning on getting one

Hey guys, i solved the problem. Nero wasn't deleting the stuff on the cdrw properly so i used clonecd and deleted the stuff on it. Now i have made the boot disc and it works fine.
