This usually means that your computer has the same ip as the xbox. Try using dhcp on the xbox.

pretty simple. whatever you feel most comfortable with. either change the ip of your computer or your xbox to 192.168.0.3

This will not work if you do not have a router or other device that can act as a dhcp server.

That'll work.

I still cant get it to work, before all I would do is go into the network settings and specify ip address of 192.168.0.2, then put that same ip in flashfxp and all was good, now i get that windows message. so if i change the ip on the computer to 192.168.0.3, dont I have to do the same for the xbox? Anyways i tried all combinations, .3 on both, .3 on computer and .2 on box, still no joy. What settings will work between xbox/computer and flashfxp? thx in advance.......

When you have it setup properly with a different IP for each the box and the pc you should be able to ping the xbox from your PC. Just go to a command prompt and type ping 192.168.0.3 (if that is the current IP of the xbox). If you get a reply then you know that you do not have a network problem. If you get a request timed out message then you have another problem, possibly a bad cable connection.

birdofprey.. just go into your network settings and change the gateway and subnet mask to something and make some Ip address... then go to your xbox network settings and change it all to the same stuff except with a different Ip... that shoudl get it going
