Title: Evox Install From Pc

I am trying to install evox on my xbox with a xpro chipand bios. The xbox will not read the cdrw, i have tried 2 different brands also. What can I do? Can I hook the new hard drive or even the original hard drive up to a pc and install from there?

No, the Xbox HD has a different file structure than of a PC.

Check the DVD burning board to learn how to properly burn Xbox CDRWs.

BUT, I use SimpleX ISO to create the ISO, and then use a PrimoDVD to burn the ISO. Works fantastic!

I am apparently in the same boat as you.  (Up the creek with no paddles as it were)
Damn Thompson won't read CDR/RW or DVDR/RW.  Pot tweak didn't help either.
I'll probably go buy a compatable PC DVD and use that but,
If you find a solution please post it.
