Perhaps you have the 8gb drive (Western Digital), and not the 10gb drive (Seagate)?

That tutorial is one way of doing it.  Easier is just ftp in with Flashfxp and do the following 2 raw commands:

Formatpath \Device\Harddisk0\Partition6

Your message window will show a key returned from that command.  Then do:

Formatdrive key

That's it.  No messing with .ini files.  Takes 30 seconds.

connected with flash fxp, went to raw command typed in: Formatpath \Device\Harddisk0\Partition6

It gave me a key, then I typed:  formatdrive key

And 2 GB appeared on drive F, it used to have 0b, now it has 2GB, still I want to combine it with the 5GB on drive E.

I have Evolution X 2.2 modchip

This worked for me too, now got all my apps on the f: drive, sweet.

Using Matrix chip flashed with Evox 2.5 ybox etc.

i did format via FlashXP raw command, but I just got the line that saying
200 Drive Formatted..., and  F is still showing 0. Am I supposed to see progress bar or somethin after invoking the formatdrive key command.
What did I do wrong? Bios is Evo 2.4

It worked for me!

Just remember the space between formatpath and \ and then the rest otherwise it won't work.
