Now, all you need is a toilet seat in the chair and a fridge beside you and your set for life.

You can actually purchase this. It's a combo recliner / crapper / fridge in one. Don't remember where, though.. but I know i've seen it  biggrin.gif

And I wouldn't want to be the one emptying the umm... disposable waste

Music in the dashboard, and at startup.

Big one for me... file verification of DVD/CD's.

No need to actually copy files to hard drive to verify a CD as readable by the Xbox. Instead insert disk into DVD, hit "verify disk" and wait while it reads every file & every byte in the files on the CD.

This will eliminate a slew of "is it copy protected" questions alone.

i would like to have multi-region dvd in the dashboard with dongle support

                                    Eh, that's not really a Evolution-X function.

How about 3D themes? It'd be nice if you could have a snazzy Dashboard like the one shipped with a stock XBox. Hell, it'd be even cooler if you could make your own in 3D Studio Max or Bryce/Poser. Retaining 2D support (so you could still use all of the themes out right now) would be a cool addition to the mentioned feature.
Another cool feature would have to be a built-in file manager, with a keyboard emulator and two windows. That way, you can copy stuff locally on the XBox without the involvement of a computer. Perhaps, even, an FTP server/client that supports passive mode with the file manager so you can transfer files from one XBox to another without a computer as a 'middle man'? (Yes, BoXplorer is a file manager, but an integrated one would be cooler... besides, BoXplorer is a bit buggy, last I checked).

a new dashboard .xbe path. to easily rename your evo-x xbe and leave the ms dash as it is (xboxdash.xbe), solving the "go live" problems.

With all that in mind, be sure to add support for gettting the paper and making breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Oh one more thing. Possible support in making and brewing beer!  smile.gif  tongue.gif  rolleyes.gif

what about an AI option which will play the selected game for you, so that you can drink beer while watching the game  biggrin.gif

An easier to use menu system so you can add items yourself through evoxlution x itself instead of using your comp or the auto add items.

Since I already have a file server with half a terrabyte for all my other.... cough... stuff... The best thing evox could do is figure out how to map a drive to a network server.  Please note, this is not map from pc to xbox f drive.  Need to be able to store games on a network server.

This way, the OEM drive stays untouched, don't need to worry about things getting blown away, can perform faster backups, etc.

i like to see an integrated text/html file viewer, ftp client, file explorer.  well, ftp client and file explorer can be done by other programs but i want it integrated into evox.  for one thing, it'll have a faster load time... i think.  when running say boxplorer, it has to launch the default.xbe file for it.  if it's integrated in evox, you don't need to launch another instance of the program.... assuming i'm not over my head on this one.  the text/html file viewer is definitely a plus for me.  i like to store all those cheat codes on the hard drive and look at them, memorize them... whatever so long as i don't have to go on the computer all the time to  look up cheat codes and print them.... talking about wasting papers.  this way... memorize the one you want to use and start playing the game.  i don't want to sound like i rely on cheat codes all the time but for freaky slow and boring games, giving some life to it is a definite plus.
