i had the EXACT same problem.  I'd get the stupid port error after transferring some of the files.

I fixed the problem by downloading the newest version of FlashFXP

i have version 1.4.3 build 835

seems my troubles is cause of i have to networkcards in my comp and that my broadband isp is the reason to my port error, using another pc on the same network i had no troubles , this one had only one network card and no internet.
