did you correctly link your old dashboard in the menu.ini file?

Yes. It's linked correclty. If its not correctly linked, it will show up red. If eliminate the EVOX dashboard, and rename the the xbox dashboard back to xboxdash.xbe, it boots directly to the service error.
I've modded alot of xbox's, but this is the first time I've had this problem.

I get this error as well, I get it when i press the eject button or when i select reboot in the EvoX Dashboard.
I have a Final Enigmah-X Installed, I didn't get the error at all after the mod Install.
I first got the error with a flashing Green/Red LED after I Did a PC DVD Drive Swap. Any Ideas?

Have you tried reflashing the bios ? there seems to be a similarity of problems here with what happens on a wrong flash.
not concrete but my two pennies worth.
