Title: Hard Drive Question

i have an extra hard drive (xbox one) with data on it
how can i access the data on it, the original xbox it came from went caput
the hard drive is fine im just wonder how i can access it, any ideas?

i was thinking i could plug it into my desktop
then plug my action replay in thru usb and drag and drop the game saves i have
would this work? or do i need to do something more complicated?

If the drive was locked you have to desolder the EEPROM chip from the old and new boards and swap them. That keeps the HDD lock code on that chip, I actually did my first swap last night.

Since the search is off line most of the time do a google search for "so you screwed up your xobx"  the first entry should be a link to a good tutorial for unlocking a locked hdd without the password.
