Title: Dvd Playback Kit Not Working

I finished the install of the xecutor lite 2.1 chip. Everything works fine. I also installed a new 120 gig hard drive and locked it down. If I turn off the mod chip and run the ms dashboard everything works (including all original game discs) but movie playback does not. Any suggestions? When I put in a dvd movie or audio cd (retail, not burned) I get a message from the standard ms dashboard saying "Your XBox can't recognize this disc. Make sure it's an xbox game, DVD movie or audio cd. Also check to see if the disc is dirty or damaged. Remove the disc to continue."
