After many weeks of modding/testing/debugging the dash,
2GAM, Yoshihiro & Kanaberra are presenting You...
Dash2Gam Version 2.3
*** CHANGELOG from V2.2 to V2.3 ***
* NEW FUNCTIONS :
- Possibility to change the dash colors with the tool 'D2G Color.exe' included in the archive
- 2 new actions to open and close the DVD tray from a button or a menu
- Display while playing a DVD of the time, the temperature and the amount of space on E: F: or G: by activating the menu
- Possibiliter de modiffier la transparence des structures 3D du dash en modifiant l'image 'Fond.xbx' qui est maintenant inclue dans le 'Skin.xip'.
- While files transfers, the displayed amount of disk space is changing in real-time
- Possibility to play BG music only while the screen saver is ON
- Possibility to display or not the temperatures of CPU and SYSTEM
- Possibility to change in real-time the fan speed through a new configuration submenu
- Possibility to change the Xbox LED color through the Skin.ini
- Possibility to change the intro video through the Skin.ini
- Option to display or not the intro video at the dash start
- The default color.ini if the file is missing in the skin to launch
* BUGS FIXED :
- Recognize the video mode 16/9 4/3 at the dash start
- Display of the amount of disk space, not necessary anymore to document partitions in the 'Config_pro.ini'
- Display of the 'HDD' menu with the 'Setting Style' resolved
- Display the music infos in 'Soundtrack' and 'Playlists' panels of the 'Music Control Panel' resolved
- Display of the titles in games, apps lists... from the 'HDD' menu resolved
- Problem on the long subdirectory names resolved
- Launching of the dash even if the skin from the config_pro.ini doesn't exist anymore
- Possibility to take a screenshot from all screens
If I forgot something, please tell me about other bugs actually non-identified.

- A new official 2GAM Skin
- Reorganization of the button presets
- Positioning of the infos displayed on the screen
- For the icons in Icons.xip, enter the directory name of the application/game/... as name of the icon to show
- To set passwords, enter the directory name of the application/game/... as application name (section [ApplicationsPassword])

This patch corrects the 2 bugs from Dash2GAM V2.3:
--Skin launching problem by more than 8 skins
--Possibility to shot a screen from the MemoryX game
Instructions: Just copy/replace the corresponding files on your Xbox

This is the BEST MS dash avaible as of RIGHT NOW, and probably the future !
its got EVERY hack/modification knows to MS dash'ing !
now thats its english, i just cannot see why EVERY1 is not using this dash !
i have been folloiwng UIX(XDN) and after its 'latest' release i was;nt really pleased with the progress (?) there making
althou there making steps forward on the scene of MS hacking
they dont seem to enclude all the old stuff that they done !!
now if both teams got togethre WOW that would be awsome
althou, we said that about XDN/BSX and all its done is slowed the end result down ? due to too many people being invovled ? well maybe ?
thing the ONLY 2 things that i can see as a feture adding .. (if it needs any !! )
is searching two folder at a time ?? and DVD scanning (for default.xbe's)
i am just AMAZED with this dash i really am
and the more i play around with the settings, the more i just love it !!

1) If I load a game or an application from Dash2Gam and then hit the igr, the dash reboots and goes to the original xbox dash instead of going back to Dash2gam. How can I fix that? I have IND-Bios and it works fine with it (besides this)
2) I have added another tab on the main menu, so I have 5 instead of four. I basically want to be able to click on it and it launches my original xboxdash.xbe which is on the C: drive. What code do I need to add to the configmenu to get this to work?
3) I have a network set up at home shared with my xbox and 3 other computers. The network router give each computer its own IP address and if I happen to unplug one of the computers it assigns the IP address to another computer that is currently using the internet. On Dash2Gam, you have to type in the IP address. When I turn on my xbox on for example it had the IP address of 192.169.2.101 when I first configured it. Now if another computer is on the network and the router has given it that IP address, and 192.169.2.102 is now free, why won't Dash2Gam automatically change to this address. Other dashboards (Unleashx, Evox, Avalaunch, etc) automatically select this address. How do I fix this problem?
4) I have been using THClite for awhile now and I love it. In fact I have spent months coding it and doing my own skins, and it works just like I like it. The only thing that it is missing is the ftp capabilities that Dash2Gam has and that's the only reason why I want to switch to it Dash2Gam. It basically looks the same but can do a whole lot more. My question is, can I use my xip's or the code from THClite and make it work in Dash2gam?
5) Is there anyway to speed up the scroll in the games menu? It seems to do a short pause every time I move down my list.
Also, I have been building a bunch of icons from a lot of newer games that I would like to share with everyone else. I think that I have over 100 of them now. I wanted to know how do I get them to you so you can put them on your website. Thanks again!

and how about using UIX script of orb/cellwall selecting in dash :)

I want to play DVD movies with my remote control not joypad. What are my options? XBMC isn't very good at playing DVD's with menus :-( The DVD X2 does't work with my remote :-(
Is the internal DVD player in Dash2gam working with remore control or not?

Perhaps this may sound silly, but are you guys using an english version of Dash2Gam? All the Dash2Gam distributions I have tried seem to be completely French.
