i just d/l a copy of the halo 2 dashboard off of X-S.com and i dont know how to install it onto my xbox. if anyone can help please post a tut on this or something :evil:

Well let me start this off before the flamming begins.
First off, for what dashboard is the Halo skin for. Another words what section was the Halo skin in "evox, unleash, avalaunch...".
Once you figure that out I think you'll realise the you need to install that dashboard before you can get the skin to work, and of course you do have your xbox modded right?
If your xbox is modded and you downloaded the skin that is correct for you installed dashboard, we need to know what the dashboard is because each dashboard has it's own way of skinning.

Original MS XBox Dash Mods:
Modifications for changing the original MS XBox Dash menu items and colors.
I went to check out the halo 2 dash to see what it looked like. I haven't done any mods with the orignal. Best guess would be loading all the *.xbx files into their corresponding *.xip files. Followed by opening the Halo2.xbp project into heXbe and then loading your xboxdash.xbe and patching the dash file either locally or across your network.

So what dashboard is it and then we can help u cuz every dashboard has its own skins and u have to put them in the right folder dude
