They are new refurbs with 30 day warranty. The manufacturing date ranges from sept 05 to may 06 from this batch. Next batch coming in a week will vary slightly.
The difference between the .81 and .80 is the drive that i goes on. The .81 was made for the ide version and the .80 was for the SATA. These are the most up to date versions for those particular drives. They both perform the same however.

Extended warranties havent been figured out yet. I have yet to work out a deal with the techs. As for preflashing, I will probably be offering it for 25bux. I dont blame you for your smart shopping. You can see from my old bst that I have TONS of references and I stand by my warranties.

Hmm, I would love to buy one off you. But I just don't see taking a risk without a longer warranty. I am sure your consoles are in excellent working condition, but even brand new ones can fry/stop working after a few months.

I see your concern but I do upgrades as well so these systems are less likely to break down than newer ones.

Well, look at it this way. You're killing the warranty by modifying it to play copied games anyhow, and for a small fee you can avoid the hassle of flashing it yourself. Through a tragically bad flash I bricked the 360 I won in a raffle, so here I am.

One kreon is sata the other is IDE. The ide is cheaper.
The BGA reflow comes with washers and AS5 as well as the eraser mod. All these add up to prevention of the 3red lights from happening again.

I dont want to have the extra accessories because it will be a pain in my ass to sell them all to recover the difference in cost. You may as well buy the system complete and dump the accessories. It will cost you less than what you would pay on ebay.

All refurbs come with the BGA reflow service. Shipping, handling and insurance is 30bux. The 360 does not come flashed but those services can be arranged.
If you want a sata drive on top of that, total cost will be 382 shipped.
If you would like the system modded, it will be 25 extra.
I prefer payments made under google checkout. If you would like to pay by paypal, i would have to add those fees.

Like i told bojingles..i have a good feeing in what he is doing with these xboxes he's selling... i just dont trust MS's way of handling the cooling of their console anymore... not with all the horror stories.
I invested a ton of cash into MS's console along with buying a crap load of games.. and my console died not even a year after i bought it.. i opened it up so my warranty was no good.

Second issue i have: the white case has a HUGE xbox logo sticker on it..thats not an issue, i can peel that off but the case is super scratched up.. every part in the pic thats dark or where you use marks are deep scratches..hard to tell in the pic though and the entire 360 was pretty dirty to say the least.
Not saying bojingles ships all his 360's with deep scratch marks,etc.. i just happened to have bad luck... i guess.

So now.. i got two options.. ask bojingles for a replacement HDD..or take the lose and just go buy a HDD.
Would i do business again with bojingles? Depends... im not pissed off but im definately not 100% satisified in recieiving a dead HDD and a super scratched up xbox 360 for $360 bucks.
Once i get a working HDD.. i'll be fine, like i said before..i like what bojingles is doing to these 360's to cool them down, that makes me feel good know that he modifed the cooling system a bit to help heat issues.
All in all..im fine with it i guess... i feel they should do these things in the future...though

I received an X360 with the exact same problem today. I will say he is doing his best to make the situation right, but it should be known this issue is not isolated to one person.

I CAN fix this myself..but you guys really need to carefully look over this stuff and test it for a bit.. i have both a HDD and now the wireless gamepad that is faulty.
Bojingles..i got your email .. i'll let you know what im gonna do .. im gonna try and fix this wireless controller.if it dont work...im sending it back along with the HDD to you ..because i want a replacement on both if i cant get them working. I hate to lose more money in shipping charges but im gonna give this a bit of time to see if i can fix the gamepad and keep plug'n away at the HDD.
I think i can fix the gamepad though..that shouldnt be too hard
PS. To those wondering .. bojingles has pm'd me and give me a return address to return the non working HDD..so that is good news that he's willing to replace broken parts that come shipped broke

reflow mod is simply reflowing the solder over the chips.(stops 3 rol)
and he said he was going to upgrade the xclamps before if you look back a couple pages in this thread.

The only problem is that the serial number on the back does not match the one in the dashboard. And the MFG date on the back indicates a launch console 2005/10/28.
What I am worried about is that there were many, many problems with those consoles and I am wondering if I made a mistake spending $150 on a launch console with only 30 days warranty.
Any thoughts? Does it matter that the serials don't match? Is M$ dumping all of their launch consoles so they don't have to deal with all the problems?
One cool thing is that it has the older kernel, 2258, but I don't care much since I want to be on live.
