Title: 'usual Places' In Unleash.....

Is there a method for me to use the ftp server in unleash to connect to the usual places?  I put the necessary information for connecting in unleash but it says unable to connect to server. I try it on my computer and it works, what am i doing wrong? <

You still need to log into the irc channel to get into xbins and unleashX can't do this so no you can't <

yea i figured this much, so i connected to the irc channel with my computer and did the necessary....... then went to unleash and 'no go'. Then i tried to flashfxp just to see if i can get on and i did but i can't with unleash for some reason. <

Since you are doing this for entertainment purposes I'm guessing...

perhaps you will like to try it with Avalaunch since it has a built in IRC client...

And post the results here.... (I would try it myself, but my xbox has been down for 2 weeks now.. :( ) <

This can be done with Avalaunch. I think he wants to get it to work with UX. Well, the ftp login at least. I tried it with UX but it gets stuck. <

maybe because xbins dosn't like pasv mode and unleashx uses it as default (I think) <

When you say PASV im guessing you mean passive mode (?) if so then i don't think so cause i have passive mode on on flashfxp whenever i connect to xbins. Anyway there is an option to turn off PASV in the ftp on unleash so im gonna try it and see what happens. <

I figured out why this doesnt work for me................its a bug in unleash's ftp client. It can't seem to accpt any site addresses that are more than 20 characters.......i checked the unleash save folder, the xml for ftp and realise it entered the address as "distribution.xbins.or%" or something like that even though in unleash it displays the full address. I wonder if this bug has been fixed in WIP's........... :unsure: <

erm you'll have to go the usual places theres a tutorial on xbox-scene,
press the Search Button at top of screen
Type xbins, usual places tutorial
and there you go.
