well thats the right item, but you probably have a thompson drive. so that phillips laser wont work. you need to see what dvd drive yuo have by looking at the tray. but you do need a new laser

i have a busted thompson, i broke one of the clips on the inside of it and the tray wont go in and out, and i could sell you the laser out of it for like $18 shipped or so.

you could also pot tweak the thompson drives and that will work perfectly a lot of times.

Aight I've done some searching, but I don't know what's reliable and what is not, does anyone have any site suggestions on where I can get a Thomson? Will the new tray have the "Xbox" word on it?
