I have 3 broke mobos 2 with all ram chips, 1 with practically all chips removed including one ram chip (you'd laugh if you saw it)

1 of the broken mobos has  the eeprom gone, pm me and maybe we could work something out for a ram upgrade

I would just like to say that I ordered a PIC chip from KingViper and I could not be any more pleased with the service he has provided.

The chip is in excellent condition, I can hardly believe that it was removed from a mobo, no bent pins or anything, and it is a surface mount chip!

KingViper has excellent soldering skills (really, this chip looks brand new), he's very quick and all and all a cool guy.

Kingviper did my ram upgrade and he gets an A++ for quality, style, customer service and speed.  I sent him my board last thursday, I tracked it, It got there Monday Feb 2, 2004 1:36 P.M.  He did the work and had it back in the mail on Tuesday Feb 3.  I got the package this morning, Thursday Feb 5 and Tested it this evening.  The chip is done VERY professionally.  I can't imagine how he got those chips on the board so cleanly.

This is excellent and worth double what he charged.  All the memory hog emulator games actually run now.  I am including the tracking numbers to and from so everyone can see his speed and reliability.  If anyone wants screen shots or web cam pics of the great job he has done for me please pm me.

What would you give for a unmodded 1.0 hd everything connected not even soldered on. My friend tryed installed a matrix and the matrix pogo kinda hit the mobo so it kinda scratched slightly its very small probably can be fixed with a conductive pen or something like that!

bump bump for an excellent cat to deal with!  constant pm's super turnaround (only took 1 hour to upgrade my ram) and excellent quality.  can't praise him enough.  if you have any doubts about a major upgrade (eeprom chip, ram upgrade, etc.) then don't hesitate to give king an e-mail or pm.  he won't let you down!

hey viper my soldering looks like ass compared to yours.. although have you tried new chips, unsalvaged, they go right on.. but if it ain't broke don't fix it.. i get requests from customers regarding ram upgrades i was wondering if you had a supplier that you get from or is the salvaged ram chips working for you..

Not once have I personally ever had chips I have removed from motherboards fail on me.  Also, I now remove them with a heatgun, so the pins are not bent whatsoever.  If you can get me new chips, LMK the price.

I would like to note that KingViper is an awesome seller.  I ordered a RAM upgrade, and he did such a wonderful job that it's difficult to tell the chips he added from the factory-installed chips!  Transaction was also lightning-fast.  I would definitely recommend KingViper to anyone.

Well to my knowledge it helps slightly on loading times. Mostly in Linux and emulators. Specifically in Mame, PSX, and N64.

I'm here and there everyonce in a while, but not around alot.  My BST list of stuff is completly outdated, which I dont think I can update anymore due to new rules.  I'm not looking to buy any more boards with memory on them, but I do have like 16+ memory chips left if anyone needs some.  I'm not looking to get more than $35 a set shipped for them.

PMing me has a much faster effect than posting in this thread tho.
